 Not Eating
I know that not eating is supposed to be a really bad way to lose weight. But does anyone know exactly why that is? I've heard it has something to do with the abrupt changes on your body, and about your body eating at muscle instead of fat.

by eating at regular times and eating the right meals and snacks in a day, your body maintains a more level blood sugar and metabolism ... by not eating, your body goes into SHOCK mode, not knowing when its next meal will be ... when you do finally eat, your body will store as much as it can for energy, which ultimately makes you gain, or just not lose any weight ...

Not eating I would not recommend ever missing meals and not eating as it is the worst thing - I put on weight when I did this, never again

I can't actually remember the last time I didn't eat anything I love my food too much and when you are pregnant the little ones take what they need - and leave us feeling hungry

how lng are you planning not to eat for example?
do you think that losing some weight will compensate for the future bad effects on your body?
eating something good for you body or having a diet helps much more.

Awesome information there.Absolutely true because of this you can gain more weight instead of loosing. It can make a not eating disease that is called anorexia and it is very dangerous.

I've heard it has something to do with the abrupt changes on your body, and about your body eating at muscle instead of fat. Not eating is a failed method for losing weight and fat. Actually what happens when you are not eating, the body fails to find glucose and other forms of energy to function properly. That amount of glucose is compensated by breaking down protein present in muscle mass. This decrease in muscle has a detrimental effect on the body’s ability to lose weight.
