 Cutting down my 100m Time...
My 100m Time is currently at around 12.5 secs, does anyone have any tips on how to lower this? Maybe some workout schedules or specify muscles to work on?
Thanks

you're looking at a fork in the road ...
running takes more of a leaner muscle whereas weight training and lifting is bulky muscle ...
for the 100, my best advice is to do a lot of starting block exercises ...
we have what we call "hops" which are about a zillion different kinds of hops that will help with exploding out of the blocks ...
i'm guessing that you're doing high school track and you'll probably do the 100, 200, and maybe 400 or 800 ... doing some moderate distance workouts wouldn't be a terrible idea either ... it'll make sure that all the muscles you need for running are in good condition and of the right kind of muscle for the races you intend to run ... going out and running 5 to 8 miles isn't going to help you as it would an insane person who runs the 1 and 2 mile races, but doing say, one 2 mile run three times a week could definitely benefit you ... while also incorporated with specific motions to the sprinting ordeal ...

I am better, lol 12.1 seconds.
I do not regularly practice any exercises for this but i am doing a lot of other sports; what i usually do is that i run and run hoping every week to cut down my own record. This is how i got to reach this level-which is not much.
