 Trapezius
How do i increase the size of my traps?? High weight low reps, or light weight high reps?? Alright, any input will help. Thanks

With me, I use heavy weight within the rep ranges of 8-10 for size. And usually 4 sets of shrugs/reverse shrugs will do it. Some people may be tempted to do more than 4 sets. But if you work every set hard, 4 sets will be more than enough.

I'm a fan of light weight high reps, I find that works best for traps though I may be wrong. End of the day they both work just whichever you feel comfortable with.

yes i do agree that, even i do few sets but with good weight. i dont go for many sets with less weights..!!

It all depends on what your goals are, and what you are training for. Usually, lighter weight with high reps will improve your endurance and stamina.

i use HEAVY weight with 12, 10, 8, 6. increasing my weight every set. my traps have grown immensely since i changed from low weight high reps. thats just me, i believe everyone is different.
