 Re: pork good for diet?
Of all meats, pork may be the most controversial. Some experts say that raw pig meat is often contaminated by various parasites such as fluke worm and that even cooking pork sometimes won't eliminate these parasitic hazards. Although MOST food experts would disagree on that. As long as you eat it in moderation and that it's cooked all the way, you should be fine. Because as you know, pork is a good source of calories, protein, several B vitamins, zinc and iron.

For me its not. Pork is rich on fat which is when your on a diet, that will be considered as your #1 enemy. Egg would be good for diet but pork? nah.. Look, if you'll eat pork when on diet even if only at once and only just one bite, your diet method will break

I agree with milamber. Pork is probably your enemy No.1 when making a diet, but i think for eating in general it's not that harmful if cooked well. You shouldn't eat pork only though and diversify your menu.
